Website Maintenance Packages
 

We can help you. If you need to have your web site updated but don't want the burden of hiring a full-time webmaster. WebPortal Design' s Web Site Maintenance Packages are designed to provide our clients with a hassle-free way of keeping their websites fresh and updated, and cater to just about every business size and type there is. Using an hourly charge rate rather than a complicated per-job rate, we ensure our clients receive value for money.

 
     
 
Packages

We have three packages available, provided as pre-paid maintenance packages that allow our clients to employ our services to update their site as and when they require it. The amazing thing is that unlike other maintenance packages, ours are valid for the lifetime of the client's site. This means that if you purchase 22 hours of updates, you will be eligible to use those updates for as long as your site exists on the net, until you fully utilize the remaining pre-paid hours. The packages offered are as follows:

•  Bronze Maintenance Package
   RM300.00 for 10 hours worth of updates

•  Silver Maintenance Package
   RM600.00 for 22 hours worth of updates

•  Gold Maintenance Package
   RM1, 200.00 for 50 hours worth of updates

How Dose it Work ?
 
  1. Purchase a Website Maintenance Package from us.
  2. We will send the login detail to your email.
  3. Send a website maintenance request to maintenance@w3bportal.com with the material and info that you to update.
  4. We will contact you to find out more or make appointment with you (if necessary). We will send you an email to let you know how many credit hours need to take to update your website before we start our job.
  5. We will start our job after receipted you Confirmation Email.
 
     
 

Why would I need a website maintenance package ?
If you have a maintenance contract in place, this negates the need to raise purchase orders for each small change or update you may wish to make to your website or its content. At present time, WebPortal Design only renders maintenance work for clients who have entered into a package with us.

How do you bill for maintenance work?
We bill for the work performed by the hour , or part thereof. If the job takes 50 minutes to complete, it will be billed as one hour of work. If the takes 90 minutes to complete, then the charge will be for the full hour. As we only perform maintenance work for clients who have entered into a prepaid maintenance contract with us, that cost will be deducted from the total number of credit hours purchased by the client at the commencement of the maintenance contract.

For how long is your maintenance contract in effect?
The unique aspect of WebPortal Design 's maintenance package is that it is for the life of the website, provided prepaid credit is still available. As long as the site is still up and running, the contract still effective. This is a revolutionary concept as far as website maintenance package goes, which typically are contracted on a per-year, per-month, or even per-job basis.

What changes can I make to my website under a maintenance contract?
Having a maintenance package with us will allow you to request the following changes to your website:

  • Remove and replace old news items and press releases
  • Remove and replace date sensitive information (i.e. dates of exhibitions or events your company is attending or arranging through the year)
  • Adding holiday information (e.g. Christmas and Easter hours of business) where required
  • Remove broken links to external sites due to site closures or changes to URLs
  • Replacing and updating images where required. Images that require extensive touch-up and alteration do not fall within the scope of the contract, and will incur additional charges. You will be advised of the additional charges involved.
  • Updating staff profiles or recruitment information
  • Updating of general text content of the site without alteration to site design.
  • Removing, replacing and adding links to the site without alteration to site design. Alterations to existing site design do not fall within the scope of the contract, and will incur additional charges. You will be advised of the additional charges involved.

Once I have signed up for website maintenance, what is the procedure for logging change requests to my site?
Once you have signed up, you will be given an e-mail address that you can use to send all your maintenance requests to WebportalDesign, where they will be logged and acknowledged within 24 hours.
